About this archive
About Minted & Gone
A quiet archive of NFT marketplaces: active, faded, acquired, and gone.
Minted & Gone preserves marketplace identities, status changes, timeline events, source notes, and archived traces in one place.
The current archive is an early source-reviewed draft. Records are evidence-backed enough for review, but they are not final public-quality certifications.
01 What is Minted & Gone?
Minted & Gone is a historical registry for NFT marketplaces. It tracks marketplace names, aliases, categories, chain scope, status, shutdowns, acquisitions, community continuations, evidence notes, and what remains after a platform changes or disappears.
02 Why it exists
NFT marketplaces can disappear quietly. Domains expire, product pages change, support notices vanish, and old platform histories become hard to reconstruct. This archive keeps those traces reviewable.
03 Who it is for
The archive is for collectors, researchers, builders, writers, and curious readers who want to understand how the NFT marketplace landscape changed over time without relying on scattered memories or broken links.
04 What it is not
It is not a trading dashboard, marketplace ranking, investment guide, safety certification, legal analysis, full smart-contract audit, or real-time monitoring guarantee.
05 How to read records
Records should be read as evidence-backed historical drafts. Confidence levels, evidence notes, archived URLs, and record quality flags explain what is known and what still needs review.
06 How corrections help
If you know of a missing marketplace, archived source, official shutdown notice, successor path, or correction, submit it with source links. The archive is designed to improve over time.
Field-guide, not dashboard
Designed for reviewable history
Minted & Gone intentionally keeps uncertainty visible. The goal is not to smooth every record into a false certainty, but to preserve the current evidence, unresolved flags, and archive trail in a form that can be reviewed and improved.
