Registry updates

Updates

A changelog for the archive, not an NFT news feed.

Updates record what changed inside Minted & Gone: marketplace records added, status labels revised, evidence notes improved, archive links added, and methodology wording clarified.

Updates should only describe reviewed or merged registry changes. Unreviewed candidates and raw monitoring signals stay out of public update copy.

Registry changelog

What belongs here

Registry changes with reviewable context

Added records

New marketplace records that have been reviewed enough to enter the public draft archive.

Status changes

Source-backed changes to active, inactive, dead, acquired, limited, rebranded, merged, or unknown classifications.

Evidence additions

New official pages, archive captures, reporting, documentation, or source notes connected to existing records.

Archive links

New or improved archived URLs for closed, redirected, repurposed, or historically important marketplace pages.

Methodology changes

Changes to how Minted & Gone explains status, evidence, uncertainty, coverage, or review rules.

What stays out

Not every signal becomes an update

Minted & Gone should not publish raw monitoring output or weak candidate claims as if they were final registry changes.

  • unreviewed monitoring signals
  • unmerged candidate records
  • raw source scraping output
  • speculation about marketplace failure
  • generic NFT news without a registry change

Correction path

Updates should improve records

If a record has a better source, archive capture, shutdown notice, successor path, or correction, submit it with source links. Future update entries should point back to the affected records and evidence changes.
